Berenguer Reborn Tutorial:
Introduction
There are so many ways to create a beautiful doll in the art of reborning. One way may work for you, but not the next. Most of us will learn by trial and error. I have been making the Berenguer reborn dolls for over three years and have learned most of what I know from other reborn artists that were willing to share their personal experiences and knowledge and through my own trial and error experiments. This tutorial project began with me trying to help my mother-in-law with her first doll. I have decided that many others could benefit from the information as well. I am just starting to get this information together, but should have it "complete" in a few weeks. I will describe in detail what "I do", but there will be many other ways and orders to do the same thing--you will develop your own style and processes. I will give credit to those that I know created a reborning technique or process when I can, but please don't take offense if you believe that a technique or process was "stolen" from you. I do not know everyone's name that ever inspired me to create my own reborn doll. The reborning process for me has been a collective effort of many doll artists sharing and helping others to create their own beautiful dolls.
This tutorial was written by me and the pictures were all taken during the various processes in the art of reborning Berenguer dolls. Because the art of the reborn doll is ever-changing this tutorial will never be "complete". I am continually trying new ideas and techniques all the time. Please check the experimental pages to see what I am working on currently. I will continue to change and add more information on a regular basis--check back often for updated tutorials.
