Sweet baby Nathaniel is a cozy little bundle of love.  He sleeps most of the time, as newborns often do.

Description:
Nathaniel began as a quality popular "Taylor" mold Berenguer doll and has been "reborn" into a unique and realistic "OOAK" (one of a kind) life-like artist doll. He wears newborn/ 0-3 mon sized clothing and newborn sized shoes.

He has been tinted and painted on the inside with a unique blend of paints and dyes. He has been painted with quality artist oils and blushed on the outside to bring out that realistic "life glow". You can faintly see the delicate veins that have been added for a very realistic look.  You'll be so amazed at how life like he appears that you'll catch yourself watching to see if he's actually breathing.

His new jointed AV (Apple Valley) cloth Num-Num body has been lovingly stuffed and weighted with plastic pellets, sterile sand and polyfill. His head is weighted, but he is a strong little boy and can hold up her head unassisted. His arms and legs are poseable and have been weighted for a more realistic evenly distributed weight.

When Nathan was born his little nose was delicately opened so he could breathe easier. His mouth was opened, reshapened and painted, but then I decided to add a magnet behind his mouth (magnet removed upon request). His nose and mouth have been backed with felt to seal the contents inside the head.

Nathan was born with beautiful, medium-dark brown "wispy" infant hair, (hand rooted premium "Pearl Moon" mohair, tediously inserted in the direction and pattern that hair grows naturally). His hair can be brushed and styled to lay flat or is adorable in a wispy "just woke up" style. Also, the factory painted on hair and grooves have been removed. His little (rooted mohair) eyelashes are so dainty and delicate, they are perfect and do not overpower his sweet little face.

 

He has ten perfect little manicured toe and fingernails with natural looking off-white tips and a light shine to appear more realistic and have a just clipped appearance.(No fingernail polish, which can peel and chip).

Added Features:
Nathaniel will come dressed in a diaper, white onsie t-shirt, new Gymboree 4-piece fall sweater outfit, that includes sweater, brown corderoy pants, matching hat and socks. He will also have his own blue teddy bear Carter's sleeper, modified pacifier, formula bottle, extra diaper, beaded name bracelet, Custom Designed Birth Certificate, Hand Tag and "Care Instructions" Booklet.

Final Note:
I personally put a lot of tender care and love into each of these dolls and spend many, many hours on each one. I use quality products and professional tools to create the look for each one. Each doll has their own personality and I carefully choose the perfect outfit and colors to compliment their uniqueness. These dolls are given such intricate details and are reborn to create a realistic looking life-like baby.
